New Jersey native Michelle Moore started performing in concert with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band in 2001, and accompanied them on the Wrecking Ball and High Hopes tours.

She performed the rap on "Rocky Ground” on Wrecking Ball, and appears on the Springsteen albums The Rising, The Promise, High Hopes, Western Stars, and Only the Strong Survive, and as well as Patti Scialfa’s albums 23rd Street Lullaby and Play it As it Lays. Singing since she was 4 years old, Moore is also a member of the Alliance Singers, based at the Pilgrim Baptist Church in Red Bank, New Jersey and other regional gospel ensembles.
