Someplace Like America: Tales from the New Great Depression Featured by Washington Post

Writer Dale Maharidge and photographer Michael S. Williamson have been collaborating for over thirty years, documenting working Americans, poverty and homelessness. Bruce Springsteen contributed the foreword to their new book, Someplace Like America: Tales From the Great New Depression, having been inspired by their work over the years.

The Washington Post has published a slide show of photographs from Someplace Like America featuring Bruce’s foreword.

Backstreets hosts a video log by the authors.
