Bruce to appear for Obama-Biden campaign in Ohio and Iowa

Bruce Springsteen, a supporter of President Obama and Vice President Biden, will appear in the Parma, OH area and Ames, IA on Thursday, October 18. The appearances will be free and open to the public.

“Bruce Springsteen’s values echo what the President and Vice President stand for: hard work, fairness, integrity,” said Jim Messina, Obama-Biden campaign manager. “His appearances will help with our get out the vote effort in these critical swing states and we are thrilled with his ongoing support.”

The Ames, IA event will begin at 1:00 pm CT on October 18 at the Hilton Coliseum. Tickets are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis starting October 16 at 10:00 am CT at Iowa State University’s Free Speech Zone and Iowa Obama For America offices.

President Bill Clinton will join Bruce in Parma, OH at the Cuyahoga Community College, West Campus, also on October 18. Doors open at 11:00 am ET, and tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis from local Obama For America offices starting at 10:00 am ET on October 16.
